Update: IEEE NFV-SDN will go virtual in 2020 – In order to enable a large outreach for the presentation of the latest NFV-SDN research, IEEE NFV-SDN has decided to be a virtual conference in 2020. Nevertheless, the conference will have the flavor of its host country Spain and host city Madrid. The dates of the event are unchanged.
The 6th IEEE Conference on Network Functions Virtualization and Software Defined Networking (IEEE NFV-SDN 2020) is scheduled to be held as planned, beginning 10-12 November in Leganes (Madrid), Spain.
The safety and well-being of all conference participants are our priority. We will continue to monitor official travel advisories related to the Coronavirus and update the event website to keep you informed.
We encourage you to review the conference’s Health and Safety page for tips and travel recommendations.
Many researchers have indicated that is currently difficult to operate as normal. Therefore, IEEE NFV-SDN 2020 has adapted its deadlines scheme to reflect the current distortion. Hence, this year’s deadline for full paper is July 27th 2020.
In 2020 IEEE NFV-SDN conference will focus on first operational results related to virtualized network functions (VNFs) as well as designing, describing, orchestrating, and managing new applications made of VNFs which smarten networks and their usage. In addition, IEEE NFV-SDN 2020 continues the premier IEEE event on the latest NFV and SDN concepts and mechanisms.
We look forward to your participation!
