Welcome

The 6th IEEE Conference on Network Functions Virtualization and Software Defined Networking (IEEE NFV-SDN 2020) will go virtual in 2020. It is scheduled to be held fully virtual and on-line on the planned dates from 9-12 November 2020.

Nevertheless, the conference will still have the flavor of its original host country Spain and host city Madrid/Leganes.

Many researchers have indicated that is difficult to operate as normal. Therefore, IEEE NFV-SDN 2020 has adapted its deadlines scheme to reflect the current distortion. Hence, this year’s deadline for full papers is July 27th 2020.

In 2020 IEEE NFV-SDN conference will focus on first operational results related to virtualized network functions (VNFs) as well as designing, describing, orchestrating, and managing new applications made of VNFs which smarten networks and their usage. In addition, IEEE NFV-SDN 2020 continues the premier IEEE event on the latest NFV and SDN concepts and mechanisms.

We look forward to your participation!

Kurt Tutschku and Larry Horner

(General Chairs 2020 IEEE NFV-SDN and on behalf of the OC)
